FCC releases national broadband plan

Last week the FCC released the official National Broadband Plan. The plan includes some lofty goals including at least 100 million US Homes having network download speeds of at least 100 Mbps by 2020!

Cable network provider first to test LTE in Belgium

Telenet, one of Belgium's first broadband providers to invest in LTE technology, said yesterday that it will start testing a LTE network offering with expectations to offer the superfast network to consumers sooner than its competitors.
